National Trust for Historic
Preservation
Please note that due to public support for the Belleview Biltmore, the
National Trust placed the Belleview Biltmore Hotel on the 11 most endangered
historical places in America in 2006. This is a great honor, and
helped bring national awareness to save our beautiful Victorian hotel in
Belleair, Florida.

For 25 years St Petersburg Preservation
has worked to seek the preservation, rehabilitation, restoration, maintenance
and acquisition of important natural, scenic, historic and architectural sites
and structures. In the past this has been accomplished by defining
historic districts and sites, seeking landmark status for structures, and by
fostering an appreciation of St Petersburg's built environment, whether it be
the homes that compose our neighborhoods, the hex blocks that make our
sidewalks, or the schools that date to the City's early years. In all the
activities SPPI may take upon itself, the overarching goal is to instill in the
citizens of St Petersburg an appreciation of our shared heritage and
culture. Membership meetings are held the second Tuesday of each
month at at 7:30 p.m., in the Mirror Lake Sunshine Center, 330 Fifth St. N, St
Petersburg, FL 33701. St. Petersburg Preservation,
