Lawsuit Filed Wednesday January 7, 2015 by Save the Biltmore Preservationists

Save the Biltmore Preservationists, Diane Hein, President and T.C. Hayes, Belleair citizen, filed a lawsuit against the Town of Belleair on Monday, January 5, 2015.  The Special Certificate of Appropriateness (SCOA), which would allow the demolition of the Belleview Biltmore Hotel, was unlawfully passed on December 9, 2014, violating their Comprehensive Plan which includes "the preservation of the Belleview Biltmore Resort Hotel."  The demolition of the hotel would be most likely in March, 2015 unless YOU our Biltmore supporter help us!
